[Ge Changwei succeeded Sun Shuming as chairman of Guangfa Fund] On May 13, news came that Sun Shuming left Guangfa Fund due to retirement reasons and no longer served as chairman. It is reported that Ge Changwei, executive director and vice chairman of Guangfa Securities, will take over this position. According to public information, Ge Changwei was born in July 1965 and served as deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, mayor of Qingyuan City, and secretary of the Qingyuan Municipal Party Committee. From March 2018 to May 2021, as Party Secretary and Director of the Guangdong Province Development and Reform Commission, he was committed to promoting regional development. In addition, during the same period, he also served concurrentlyshotrouletteDirector of the Office of the Leading Group for Promoting the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of Guangdong Province.
