Analysis shows that Ukraine's grain exports include 16.6 million tons of wheat, approximately 25 million tons of corn and 2.3 million tons of barley. Black Sea ports are the main route for 95% of the country's grain exports.

The Ukraine government predicts that this year's grain and oilseed harvest will reach 81.3 million tons, and the exportable surplus in 2023/24 is expected to be approximately 50 million tons.

At the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture expects total grain and oilseed production to fall to 74 million tons in 2024, including 52.4 million tons of grain.
