Stefano Rosso will report directly to the group's CEO Ubaldo Minelli and continue to serve as chairman of Maison Margiela and CEO of the group's product development department.
It is understood that Stefano Rosso is the son of Renzo Rosso, founder of OTB Group. He graduated from the New York Institute of Fashion Technology and served as CEO of Diesel, a brand owned by the group. In February this year, Marni signed a licensing agreement with Coty Group, one of the world's largest beauty groups, which will help Marni develop, produce and distribute beauty products, with the first batch expected to be launched in 2026.
